Ensuring Reliability for Your Kitchen
At Chef's Marche, we understand that timely and reliable delivery of quality ingredients is the backbone of your kitchen's operation. Our logistics network is engineered specifically for the demanding needs of the HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants, Caterers and Cafes) industry, ensuring cold-chain integrity and on-time service.
1. Our Standard Delivery Model: Next-Day Restocking
Our primary service is designed for your routine restocking needs, providing guaranteed supply on a predictable schedule.
2. Express Delivery Services (Urgent Supplies)
For last-minute needs, unexpected demand, or critical stock-outs, we offer an expedited service where available.
3. Minimum Order Value (MOV)
To maintain the efficiency and high quality of our cold chain logistics, all orders are subject to a Minimum Order Value.
Standard MOV: The minimum order value required for any delivery is ₹[3,000].
Waiver: The delivery fee for our Standard Next-Day service will be waived for orders exceeding ₹[5,000].
4. Cold Chain & Hygiene Guarantee
Our commitment to food safety extends to the moment the product enters your kitchen.
Temperature-Controlled Fleet: All perishable goods (Produce, Dairy, Meats, Frozen Items) are transported in refrigerated, multi-temperature zone vehicles to ensure product integrity remains intact from our warehouse to your door.
Hygienic Handling: Our delivery partners adhere to strict FSSAI-compliant hygiene protocols and use dedicated equipment to handle and transport your goods.
Packaging: Items are professionally packed in marked crates and insulated containers appropriate to the product category.
5. Acceptance, Inspection, and Returns
As a professional B2B service, we have clear guidelines for order acceptance to ensure speed and accountability.
A. Order Acceptance and Inspection
Mandatory Check at Delivery: You, or your authorized kitchen personnel, must inspect the quality and quantity of all goods at the time of delivery.
Immediate Reporting: Any discrepancies, quality issues, or damages must be noted on the delivery manifest and reported to the delivery personnel immediately.
Post-Acceptance Liability: Once the manifest is signed, and the products are accepted, Chef's Marche is not liable for any subsequent claims regarding quantity shortage or quality degradation.
B. Failed Delivery Policy
Attempt Limit: We attempt delivery only once during the agreed-upon time slot.
Late Acceptance: If the receiving party causes a delay of more than 10 minutes in accepting the delivery, we reserve the right to recall the goods.
Non-Delivery Penalty: In the event of a failed delivery due to reasons attributable to the Merchant (e.g., no staff available, restricted access), the Merchant will be liable for the full cost of the perishable goods, as these cannot be restocked.
C. Reverse Pickups / Returns
Policy: Returns for accepted goods are strictly limited. Any replacement or return request for a defect discovered during the initial check must be initiated with your Account Manager at the time of delivery.
Reverse Pickup: We only process a reverse pickup request in conjunction with a new, subsequent delivery order to maintain efficiency. Requests must be placed within [7] days of the original delivery.
6. Access and Assistance at Location
To ensure timely delivery, particularly for bulk orders:
Clear Access: Please ensure the delivery path to your designated receiving area is clear and accessible.
High-Rise Buildings: If your designated receiving area is above the second floor, the Merchant must ensure that elevator access or sufficient dedicated staff assistance is available for our delivery team.
